Position Openings:

Conservation Technician: Full time-located in Paw Paw, Michigan 

To oversee and implement all aspects of the Best Management Practices and Fieldprint Calculator programs in the Paw Paw River Watershed; to educate and assist landowners to help improve water quality and hydrology, reduce sediment loading and to restore healthy habitat. Volunteer Opportunities:

Tree Seeding Wrapping-Volunteers are needed the week of Tree Sale to help separate and wrap tree seedlings and prepare pre-orders for day of sale pick up. This year we will start Saturday, April 9th throughThursday, April 14th, 2011.

VBCD Native Plant Garden- A volunteer is needed to tend our native plant garden in front of the district office.  An hour or two a week should do the trick.  Knowledge of native plants and grasses or an interest in learning native plant identification is required.
