- A wetland site to showcase the important functions wetland perform.
- A site where a rain garden is filtering polluted urban runoff
We’ll also discuss programs and resources for farmers to reduce water pollution and recharge groundwater supplies. The tour is targeted to local officials, but anyone is welcome to attend.
The tour will depart from and return to the Covert Township Hall at 73943 E. Lake Street in Covert. Sponsored by the Southwest Michigan Planning Commission, Van Buren Conservation District, and the Van Buren County Road Commission.
