white pine
Fast growing pine (80ft+). Grows in well drained, sandy soils, but will tolerate most soils. Long, soft needles (5 per bundle) and long, skinny cone (4-6in). Excellent for wildlife cover and food, windbreaks and reforestation. Michigan’s state tree.
