What to Expect

Whether you’re a longtime supporter or new to VBCD, this event has something for everyone:

Accessibility Information

This event is held outdoors. We encourage all attendees to be mindful of their abilities and needs and other conditions that could affect their ability to participate.

When able, the VBCD is committed to providing accommodations. Please review the following details before you arrive:

    • Weather: We encourage attendees to check for weather conditions and dress and prepare accordingly for the weather. The event will be held rain or shine, but will be canceled in the event of severe weather, such as thunderstorms or tornado warnings.
    • Terrain: While some surfaces are paved, some terrain is unpaved, grassy, and uneven in areas.
    • Parking: We will reserve accessible parking spaces near the entrance.
    • Restrooms: The park’s restrooms will be available for use.
    • Allergens: This outdoor event may be unsafe for those with allergies, especially those with allergies specific to the outdoors.
    • Sensory: The outdoor environment may have scents, sounds, sights, and other stimuli which could affect those with sensory sensitivities.
  • Seating: Picnic tables and folding tables and chairs will be available for use.
