The Van Buren Conservation District is excited to announce that we have a Volunteer Appreciation and Work Opportunity! We are looking forward to meeting on Wednesday, May 15, 2024 from 11:00 AM-1:00 PM at Thunderfoot Farm (32323 M-43, Paw Paw MI 49079). Please park in the designated area along 32nd St and not at the farm address. 

Whether you’ve volunteered with us before, or you’re looking to volunteer for the first time, please join us for this fun volunteering event! Sheep will need their yearly shearing, and over 250 fruit trees and 300+ herb starts will need to be planted. Learn to graft and feel free to take a fruit tree (Apple, Pear, or Peach) and some herb starts home with you for your efforts.
