1:00 pm: Summer Reading Fun at the Linking Center1:00 pm: Summer Reading Fun at the Linking Center – ![]() Come see your friends, hear a great book, and do some fun activities as we support the Pullman Library's Pullman Elementary Summer Read Aloud event! The group will read "Splat the Cat and the Lemonade Stand," make lemon volcanoes and have other Splat the Cat activities. We look forward to having fun learning about how pollination and pollinators are critical to making lemons and local fruits too! |

10:00 am: Wednesdays at Wolf Lake | Week 210:00 am: Wednesdays at Wolf Lake | Week 2 – ![]() We invite children ages 4-10 and guardians to join us at Wolf Lake State Fish Hatchery (34270 County Road 652, Mattawan, Michigan, 49071) as we partner to provide an outdoor educational experience. We will utilize all that the hatchery has to offer including fishing, pond studies, various educational hikes, scavenger hunts, nature journaling and tours of the facility.
Parents/guardians are required to attend for the entirety of the program and provide their own transportation. Pre-registration is required and can be filled out online, in the Van Buren Conservation District office, over the phone by calling 269-657-4030 x5, or by stopping in to the South Haven Memorial Library or any one of Van Buren District Library branches. We can’t wait to see you soon!

10:30 am: Hike with a Naturalist | Gobles Branch - Van Buren District Library10:30 am: Hike with a Naturalist | Gobles Branch - Van Buren District Library – ![]() Join us at VBDL Gobles Branch on August 2nd 10:30AM to 12:30PM for a hike on the Kal-Haven State Trail with a naturalist. See nature through a naturalist's eye! The naturalist will talk about all the life around you in a way you might not have experienced before. We will meet at VBDL Gobles Branch and walk to the Kal-Haven Trail. As always, dress for the weather and bring appropriate footwear. We are excited to see you there!
