This community clean up event will collect trash along the Van Buren State Trail on Friday, September 29, 2023 from 12:30 PM – 2:30 PM. This community clean up event will collect trash and debris in the Paw Paw River on September 16, 2023 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM. Trash in our rivers is more than just an eyesore; it contaminates our drinking water and hurts our environment. Pollution in rivers negatively impacts plants, wildlife, drinking water quality, scenic beauty, and recreational value. Come join us in cleaning up our community and protecting our environment! Join us for our MAEAP Field Day, an educational event for local farmers, on 17 August 2023 from 4:00 PM – 7:00 PM. We will be at Stocchiero Farms (54982 M-43 Hwy, Bangor, MI 49013). Topics will include soil quality, cover crop planting examples, orchard fencing, and more. Refreshments and food will be provided. This event is free but please RSVP by August 11.
