Recycling Education Palooza
Get ready, get set, let’s learn!
This summer, Recycling & Materials Management Coordinator Kalli Marshall is leading a recycling education campaign. Throughout July and August, you’ll find Kalli giving presentations at our Lunch & Learn events, mingling at Sustainable Samplers, or answering all your questions during Recycling Station Power Hours.

Lunch & Learns
Join a recycling and waste pro for lunch! Come along with Kalli to discuss all things recycling and waste. Bring your questions and leave feeling more empowered to reduce your footprint.
Check in starting at 11:45 AM followed by lunch. Kalli and the group will start chatting at 12:15 PM. We will wrap up around 1:00 PM with room for more questions after.

Stop in to drop off your recycling and ask all your questions. We can’t wait to share insights on best practices, what is accepted, and what happens to it. Be sure to ask all your hard questions.

Sustainable Samplers
Mix and mingle with the VBCD! Come along to local breweries to learn and snack. Engage and learn from displays and such while chatting with your friendly VBCD staff member. Come for the conversation and knowledge and leave feeling like you, too, can be a recycling champion!
