Why take this survey?
The Van Buren County Parks & Recreation Commission, together with the Southwest Michigan Planning Commission, is working on a new parks and recreation plan. This plan will shape how we plan and improve parks and recreation in our County. Through you, we can build a better plan. You make a difference by sharing your wants and needs, like:
- What kinds of park improvements you’d like to see
- What activities and programs are most important to you
- Which natural areas to protect
- So much more!
Parks and recreation are a big part of what makes our community a great place to live. They help people stay active and healthy, meet new friends, enjoy nature, and enhance our community. Having this plan also helps the County apply for important grants (money from the state and federal government) to make our parks even better.
