Rosinweed | |||
Description | Rosinweed (Silphium integrifolium) is a perennial, tall native sunflower with oval, lance-shaped leaves and yellow flowers. Even though it grows shorter than other native Silphiums, bees and butterflies can’t help being drawn to this statuesque and showy member of the sunflower family. The very larges seeds will drop and self-seed in optimum conditions if the birds don’t get to them first. Because of its size consider planting them as a backdrop or pillars in more refined native landscapes, otherwise it is a great species for naturalizing larger areas. Contains approximately 25 seeds. | ||
